GREEN STREET LI

Green Street LI

CCE has partnered with Newsday, green businesses, environmental organizations, and the Long Island community in the Green Street Long Island initiative. The goal of Green Street Long Island is to bring Long Island residents the resources and information necessary to take action by choosing one simple action or change in behavior to better our environment and make the move to "Green Street." The weekly pull out section in Newsday gives tips and expert advice on issues like composting, recycling, organic eating, and where to get the best green products, with an overall goal to encourage all Long Island residents to make greener choices.

CCE’s executive director Adrienne Esposito was featured in the first issue of Green Street Long Island as an environmental leader. CCE also serves on Green Street Long Island’s advisory board with other local non-profits and environmental organizations to recognize and evaluate nominations of Long Island green leaders to be featured in the insert once a month.

CCE encourages you to Make the Move and visit the Green Street Long Island at http://greenstreetli.com/.
